No. I have been feeling <\/em>about this community of people, the nontheist Pagan community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I have been feeling because sometimes such appreciation, such gratitude wells up in me to be with you all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So a wrote a thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n THIS Community<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re having none of the bullshit, thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019ve seen the paths of the lost and confused, and chosen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We aspire:<\/p>\n\n\n\n To lofty goals and a kinder world,<\/p>\n\n\n\n To sense, sensibility, sensuousness, sexiness, Self-made-Sacred:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sifted<\/p>\n\n\n\n Through the fine grate of experience, cultivating it, the joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And to be better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re having all of the work, thank you,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because we are stained. None has escaped<\/p>\n\n\n\n The gray of hopelessness, the whisper of bigotry,<\/p>\n\n\n\n The assumptions and biases and blinding dust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are having the work to be clean, to be better,<\/p>\n\n\n\n To aspire to the world we know is possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re having all of the lusciousness, thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The juice of this life drips down our chins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And though we understand its origins, this in no way<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dilutes its sweetness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We shave with Occam\u2019s Razor to make our nerve endings shudder<\/p>\n\n\n\n With forbidden nakedness, we run trembling tongues to taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We climb to the mountaintop whose name is YES<\/em>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Breathing stars<\/p>\n\n\n\n The butterfly glory of a cold breath\u2019s air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I light this candle now, my people,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Feeling you in your magnificence<\/p>\n\n\n\n In your struggle<\/p>\n\n\n\n Feeling you in your learning<\/p>\n\n\n\n In your leaping and falling short<\/p>\n\n\n\n Feeling you in your glowing hearts<\/p>\n\n\n\n I light this candle now blessed,<\/p>\n\n\n\n So blessed that you are with me<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each one.
